In the 6th minute Esteve Jerico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Turi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jeronimo Hori fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmiro Oier to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match Jeronimo Hori sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Turi skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Barrialito FC's zone, Delmiro Oier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Txordon came out of the goal and Delmiro Oier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Delmiro Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Txindoki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Turi having to make a save. Delmiro Oier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Agustin Txordon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Siro Txindoki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrialito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Txindoki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Turi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Candelaria's Rafael Turi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Jerico in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Candelaria getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Mario Daunte hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Txindoki got free with Rafael Turi in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barrialito FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
