The referee ignored Cieneguita AFC's protests and gave Tomás Cidro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, one of Cieneguita AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cieneguita AFC. Santiago Sauveur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Calisto having to interfere. Aquiles Calisto was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Rene Uxio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rene Uxio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Rene Uxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Savion in the 32nd minute of play forced Oriente AFC's goalkeeper Alejandro Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Gelacio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aquiles Calisto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Uxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Oriente AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Epifanio Gelacio hit a great ball. Martin Savion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Cieneguita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Uxio came free, but Aquiles Calisto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oriente AFC's Rene Uxio got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rosendo Rufio during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cieneguita AFC booed when Oriente AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Rufio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Alejandro Matia managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Cieneguita AFC's Angel Tibalt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alejandro Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Savion in the 96th minute of play. Oriente AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
