After a defensive mix-up in Guascan AFC's zone, Alonzo Dabi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Fiz came out of the goal and Alonzo Dabi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Holmberg's Paulino Jerrald got control of the ball when Bartolo Gauargi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Benedicto Buinton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guascan AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holmberg the free kick. After 90 played minutes Guascan AFC got a freekick which was hit by David Seguinus. 93 minutes into the match, Holmberg's goalkeeper Paulino Jerrald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolo Gauargi. Bruno Fiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Rameriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Ezequiel Abastas kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Guascan AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
