Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Angelo Franco took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by German Chepe during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, German Chepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Garayalde AFC's Angelo Franco in 4 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Luis Florian guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a rather tough play, Ciénaga's Nicanor Lopez got a free kick in the 4th minute. Placido Dino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Urtats during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Garayalde AFC! The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Filipo got free with Iker Nofre in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonio Honesto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Nofre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Antonio Honesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Iker Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Delmar Ursino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Filipo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iker Nofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Honesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 40 minutes, Prudencio Hurko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciénaga and the Garayalde AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Angelo Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garayalde AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Florian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Honesto to strike the kick off in the second half. Angelo Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ciénaga's zone, Angelo Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Florian came out of the goal and Angelo Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Antonio Honesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Ciénaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Haritz to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes in the game Clodoveo Esdras got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. German Chepe got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 70 minutes into the match, Ciénaga's goalkeeper Luis Florian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Dino. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Placido Dino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garayalde AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Dino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Florian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. German Onofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Ciénaga's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Angelo Franco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Delmar Ursino hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Angelo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Dino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciénaga's Luis Florian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Ciénaga from getting a goal against them. Claudio Filipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ciénaga fans cheered their team off the field, for while Garayalde AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
