The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Fernan Loco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Maiorga didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Palmira's Agustin Peter shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience was convinced that Agustin Peter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mario Maiorga was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Chapanay FC's Baldomero Quintun got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Nereo Haritz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chapanay FC the free kick. After 22 played minutes Palmira got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Haritz. Baldomero Quintun hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Amador Dalmau took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Damaso Benino to make any attempt to save it. 40 minutes into the match, Chapanay FC's Amador Dalmau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damaso Benino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Agustin Peter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Maiorga having to interfere. Agustin Peter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amador Cordarius to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Agustin Peter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Amador Cordarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Natal during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mario Natal kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Fernan Loco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes of play Palmira's Mario Natal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Palmira's Mario Natal got a free kick in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernan Loco in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damaso Benino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amador Cordarius kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Fernan Loco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Damaso Benino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Palmira getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nereo Haritz hit a great ball. Palmira's Damaso Benino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Dalmau in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Amador Dalmau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Benino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Baldomero Quintun came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Chapanay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Quintun couldn't finish the play. Nereo Haritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Ted during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Horacio Ted kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Damaso Benino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horacio Ted went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Fernan Loco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chapanay FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
