Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amador Cordarius got the match started through his kick off. Damaso Benino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Hector Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Benino having to interfere. Generoso Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nereo Haritz's late challenge caught a Quitilipi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Haritz helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Palmira got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Haritz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Aires in the 13th minute of play forced Palmira's goalkeeper Damaso Benino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damaso Benino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Aires in the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Generoso Lano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quitilipi's supporters rose to their feet, but Generoso Lano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Benino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Amador Cordarius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zeledon Txatxu. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. When Hector Aires came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Quitilipi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Aires couldn't finish the play. Agustin Peter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Txatxu having to interfere. When Amador Cordarius came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Palmira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Cordarius couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, one of Quitilipi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quitilipi. When the match had been going on for 48 minutes, Palmira's Baltasar Padro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zeledon Txatxu. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Aires to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Generoso Lano lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Damaso Benino. Palmira's Agustin Peter got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Braulio Obano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Generoso Lano might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damaso Benino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Generoso Lano ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Hector Aires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Benino was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Nereo Haritz got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 81 played minutes Palmira got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Haritz. After a rather tough play, Palmira's Braulio Obano got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Agustin Peter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 played minutes Quitilipi got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Barros. Agustin Peter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Zeledon Txatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quitilipi's Zeledon Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Peter in the 97th minute of play.
