Casimiro Costante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Cordarius in the 8th minute of the match. Damaso Benino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Anaya went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Victorino Anaya put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Damaso Benino. Braulio Obano hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Damaso Benino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Tirso, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Nereo Haritz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Mario Natal hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes Tarragona got a freekick which was hit by Leo Saturnin. Victorino Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Peter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Casimiro Costante made a huge save. After the first half Tarragona were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorino Anaya to strike the kick off in the second half. Amador Cordarius spun around in front of the goal 51 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Tarragona's goal. Baltasar Padro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Eleuterio Tirso hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Agustin Peter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Remigio Eli hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 68th match minute, Tarragona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Tirso to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match Baltasar Padro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casimiro Costante skillfully saved the ball. When Nereo Haritz came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Palmira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Haritz couldn't finish the play. Valentin Libertad kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Amador Cordarius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmira's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Cordarius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Costante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd match minute, Tarragona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Eli to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Peter in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casimiro Costante saved Tarragona from getting behind. Victorino Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorino Anaya did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Damaso Benino 92 minutes into the match. Casimiro Costante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Peter, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
