Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roman Medero started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Medero in the 5th minute of play forced Palavecino's goalkeeper Omar Feliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Conhelo's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Salvadore came free, but Anselmo Jerardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Baleren hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If Maximo Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Omar Feliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Palavecino's Nestor Erroman got a free kick in the 24th minute. Omar Feliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Ritchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Feliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Medero in the 29th minute of play. Anselmo Jerardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Salvadore, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Abelardo Cheche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Humberto Oso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Conhelo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melquiades Salvadore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Roman Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Feliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Medero, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Abelardo Cheche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the match, Palavecino's goalkeeper Omar Feliu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Ritchie. In the 74th match minute, Palavecino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Enaut to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Medero in the 77th minute of play forced Palavecino's goalkeeper Omar Feliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Cheche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Jerardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Cheche, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Conhelo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Conhelo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
