Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Julio Estebe made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd minute, Filomeno Bidari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Eustaquio Mendebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paulo Restu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Washington FC's zone, Paulo Restu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Mendebal came out of the goal and Paulo Restu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustaquio Mendebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Estebe struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Eustaquio Mendebal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabinda. 18 minutes into the match, Paulo Restu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Washington FC's Eustaquio Mendebal. Eustaquio Mendebal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christian Gervaso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Washington FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Norberto Goyo's late challenge caught a Cabinda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Goyo helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Washington FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Goyo. In the 29th minute, Norberto Goyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Cabinda's Cecilio Ricart tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Cabinda got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Serapio. In the 34th minute, Julio Estebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Estebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Mendebal having to interfere. Eustaquio Mendebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Restu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Anastasio Ebardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabinda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Washington FC the free kick. The supporters of Washington FC booed when Cabinda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Ebardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Paulo Restu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabinda's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Restu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustaquio Mendebal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Santos was the one to do the kick off. Carmelo Santos struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Miguel Olando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Washington FC. After a defensive mix-up in Cabinda's zone, Carmelo Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Olando came out of the goal and Carmelo Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. Paulo Restu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Eustaquio Mendebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, Washington FC's Carmelo Santos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Olando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miguel Olando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Julio Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Bidari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Olando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Carmelo Santos took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Olando. Miguel Olando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Cabinda's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
