In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Luxardo AFC's goalkeeper Zacarias Frasquito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Humberto Ferran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Ramone in the 10th minute of the match. Vanguardia FC's Humberto Ferran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Vanguardia FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Ramone in the 15th minute of play forced Vanguardia FC's goalkeeper Humberto Ferran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amador Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amador Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Vanguardia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Furtado to maneuver through the defense. When Luxardo AFC's Manuel Ramone in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Luxardo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Frasquito should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Vanguardia FC's Amador Furtado got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Luxardo AFC's Manuel Ramone in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Corderall made a kick off. Niceto Sasoin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Bernardo Corderall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vanguardia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Corderall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Luxardo AFC's goalkeeper Zacarias Frasquito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Sasoin. Luxardo AFC's Eriberto Edorta got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vanguardia FC's Fabricio Eusko got a free kick in the 60th minute. Humberto Ferran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Atarratze in the 61st minute of play. Bernardo Corderall struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Zacarias Frasquito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vanguardia FC. Bernardo Corderall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacarias Frasquito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Aureliano Atarratze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luxardo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. When Bernardo Corderall came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Vanguardia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Corderall couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vanguardia FC's goalkeeper Humberto Ferran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Zacarias Frasquito managed to avoid a goal in the 98thth minute, when Vanguardia FC's Niceto Sasoin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
