Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Garín's Domingos Cordarrell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Domingos Cordarrell took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Serafin Garaona to make any attempt to save it. In the 9th minute, Domingos Cordarrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Primitivo Tolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Serafin Garaona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Cordarrell in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Garín booed when Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Diaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Mayo's Serafin Garaona got control of the ball when Primitivo Tolino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elvio Raitin kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Paulo Transito charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Transito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domingos Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Garaona having to interfere. If Domingos Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Primitivo Tolino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafin Garaona was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godofredo Bermund to strike the kick off in the second half. Mayo were furious when Lucas Mark was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Garín. Marcelo Vistruario stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Serafin Garaona. 3-0. The supporters of Mayo booed when Garín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Cordarrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Garín:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mayo:s goal. The goalkeeper, Delmar Crispo, was totally fooled by Mayo's Anibal Diaz, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The long shot by Victorio Jerrald in the 74th minute really tested Delmar Crispo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 77th minute Primitivo Tolino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafin Garaona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Cordarrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Garín getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Norberto Oskitz hit a great ball. Gregorio Haimar struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Delmar Crispo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mayo. Primitivo Tolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Serafin Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio Haimar might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Crispo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Haimar ran back to his position shaking his head. Jairo Valente's late challenge caught a Garín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Valente helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mayo getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Jairo Valente hit a great ball.
