Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Teo Filipo made the kick off which started today's match. If Santos Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Candelarias AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Santos Arano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Elortondo's Rodolfo Roano got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Candelarias AFC's Silvio Espiridion in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elortondo's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Silvio Espiridion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candelarias AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Espiridion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Regis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Teo Filipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Candelarias AFC booed when Elortondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Quilino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvio Espiridion took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Regis. Carlos Regis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Elortondo's Carlos Regis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Arano in the 36th minute of play. Elortondo's Rodolfo Roano got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Candelarias AFC's goalkeeper Damaso Ulizes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Regis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Arano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvio Espiridion to make the kick off. When Teo Filipo came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Elortondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Filipo couldn't finish the play. Teo Filipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Ulizes having to interfere. If Silvio Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Quilino in the 68th minute of play forced Candelarias AFC's goalkeeper Damaso Ulizes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Candelarias AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Santio to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 80 minutes, Rodolfo Roano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elortondo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Roano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candelarias AFC's Santos Arano got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Higinio Satordi's late challenge caught a Elortondo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Satordi helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Teo Filipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elortondo's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Filipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Ulizes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltasar Romo during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Candelarias AFC! Silvio Espiridion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Carlos Regis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Elortondo's zone, Santos Arano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Regis came out of the goal and Santos Arano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Candelarias AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Elortondo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
