In the 13th match minute, Unión AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Hustaz to maneuver through the defense. Dante Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Eguen, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Delmar Vidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unión AFC's Dante Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Unión AFC defense, Delmar Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Batista. The Unión AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Batista should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Bittor got free with Eriberto Lopez in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Fernandez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eriberto Lopez. Ciriaco Fernandez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Eriberto Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Fernandez in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Quetrequén FC's Amado Iigo got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes Quetrequén FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Lehior. 31 minutes into the match, Unión AFC's Fulgencio Joanes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelino Gutxi during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Angelino Gutxi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionisio Bittor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Eguen, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With a little luck, Quetrequén FC's Eriberto Lopez got control of the ball when Dionisio Bittor tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmar Vidal to make the kick off. Dante Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Vidal in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Quetrequén FC's Delmar Vidal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Batista. Dante Batista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Quetrequén FC's Eriberto Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Bittor in the 59th minute of play. Eriberto Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Bittor in the 60th minute of the match. Quetrequén FC's Eriberto Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Bittor in the 62nd minute of play. Dionisio Bittor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Lopez having to interfere. Delmar Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Batista having to interfere. Delmiro Eguen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Dante Batista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dionisio Bittor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Lopez having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Delmar Vidal put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Batista. If Dionisio Bittor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Eguen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Quetrequén FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quetrequén FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
