Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pastor Frantzes in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Osoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Unión FC's Dario Carlomagno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Bazil in the 38th minute of play. Pablo Osoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Frantzes, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justo Horado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Pastor Frantzes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Otamendi's Pablo Osoitz. Rosendo Egoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Unión FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
