Justo Cugat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Chañar FC's Justo Cugat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Taurino in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Dante Lidon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Taurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Justo Cugat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Erroman having to interfere. Baldomiro Ramirez hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Chañar FC's Alonzo Evangelista couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pueblo FC. Fidel Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Erroman having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dante Lidon was the one to do the kick off. Dante Lidon scored 1-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justo Cugat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Isaac Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baldomiro Ramirez's late challenge caught a Chañar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Ramirez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pueblo FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Baldomiro Ramirez hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Dante Lidon made a precise shot to the right of Justo Cugat. Chañar FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Fidel Teodor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silverio Erroman having to make a save. Godofredo Qwinton might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silverio Erroman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godofredo Qwinton ran back to his position shaking his head. Pueblo FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
