Machagai's Benjamin Kelemen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Adela. After a defensive mix-up in Machagai's zone, Carlos Castel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Galtero came out of the goal and Carlos Castel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Machagai's Felix Barros got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Genaro Rico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Machagai's Delmar Galtero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Astor Ihazintu kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Bonifacio Fraco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machagai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Fraco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Castel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Delmar Galtero made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Carlos Castel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adela's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Castel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Galtero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 played minutes Genaro Rico rounded Machagai's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Carlos Castel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Delmar Galtero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Bonifacio Fraco made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Carlos Castel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute Genaro Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Galtero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Adela's Genaro Rico in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Machagai's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th minute Genaro Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Galtero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Galtero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Rico, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Ramiro Gumaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Machagai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Adela the free kick. After 92 played minutes Machagai got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Gumaro. Carlos Castel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Galtero having to interfere. Delmar Galtero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Rico in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Adela fans cheered their team off the field, for while Machagai had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
