Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 2 played minutes Machagai got a freekick which was hit by Astor Ihazintu. With a little luck, Hernandarias's Guillermo Janpier got control of the ball when Everardo Lizardi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saverio Lico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Machagai's Everardo Lizardi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Janpier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 17 minutes, Bonifacio Fraco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Machagai and the Hernandarias players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Machagai got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Fraco. In the 21st minute, Hernandarias's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bonifacio Fraco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bonifacio Fraco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillermo Janpier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Saverio Lico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Delmar Galtero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonifacio Fraco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Janpier having to interfere. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hernandarias's goalkeeper Guillermo Janpier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guillermo Janpier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleuterio Cordairo in the 40th minute. Everardo Lizardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Janpier having to interfere. Hernandarias's Guillermo Janpier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Hernandarias from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifacio Fraco was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Lizardi in the 54th minute of play forced Hernandarias's goalkeeper Guillermo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Lico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Delmar Galtero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saverio Lico might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Galtero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saverio Lico ran back to his position shaking his head. Guillermo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Fraco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Hernandarias's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Lizardi came free, but Guillermo Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, Hernandarias's Saverio Lico made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmar Galtero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Delmar Galtero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Tauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ramiro Gumaro kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Apolo Formerio made a precise shot to the right of Delmar Galtero. Machagai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 86th minute Apolo Formerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Galtero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Tauro was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Everardo Lizardi spun around in front of the goal 91 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Hernandarias's goal. In the 93rd minute, Bonifacio Fraco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Machagai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hernandarias eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
