The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amoschina FC's Ubaldo Maraman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Silviano in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Amoschina FC's Anibal Ignazio got a free kick in the 4th minute. Benito Silviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Neron might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Maraman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgard Neron ran back to his position shaking his head. After 16 minutes, Humberto Mancio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amoschina FC and the Cacheuta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edgard Neron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Ubaldo Maraman made a huge save. The supporters of Cacheuta FC booed when Amoschina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Presebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Iturri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Neron got free with Ubaldo Maraman in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Amoschina FC's zone, Benito Silviano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Maraman came out of the goal and Benito Silviano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Eusebio Chucho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amoschina FC's Flavio Iturri got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Chan made a kick off. Silvano Presebal was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 52 played minutes Amoschina FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Presebal. Edgard Neron struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ubaldo Maraman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacheuta FC. Ubaldo Maraman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Silviano in the 73rd minute of play. Benito Silviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Neron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Maraman having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Daniel Millano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amoschina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cacheuta FC the free kick. After 80 played minutes Amoschina FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Millano. Benito Silviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Neron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ubaldo Maraman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Silviano, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Cacheuta FC were the better team. Cacheuta FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
