A collision led to Tacaaglé AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ubaldo Valente hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Leonardo Naelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 minutes, Ubaldo Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tacaaglé AFC and the Saavedra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ubaldo Valente hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Nemesio Cai notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tacaaglé AFC's Leo Librado. Leo Librado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Nemesio Cai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Cai in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Librado saved Tacaaglé AFC from getting behind. Nemesio Cai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Librado having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Saavedra's Aristides Loren got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Tacaaglé AFC's Mauro Gorka got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, Tacaaglé AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Bazkoare to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Tacaaglé AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Cai came free, but Leo Librado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Araoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nemesio Cai in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Librado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leo Librado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Cai in the 33rd minute of play. Ubaldo Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nemesio Cai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Nemesio Cai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Librado having to interfere. Leo Librado came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Saavedra's Nemesio Cai. But to his dismay, Nemesio Cai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauro Gorka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Patricio Araoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Gorka in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Nesor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aristides Loren hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Nesor having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Dario Incendio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Cai in the 77th minute of the match. Nemesio Cai struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Leo Librado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saavedra. Tacaaglé AFC's Leo Librado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Tacaaglé AFC from getting a goal against them. Saavedra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reynaldo Cambranes in the 87th minute. The corner led Saavedra's Reynaldo Cambranes to fire away a dangerous shot which Leo Librado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tacaaglé AFC's Leo Librado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Cai in the 88th minute of play. Tacaaglé AFC's Mauro Gorka got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tacaaglé AFC's Leo Librado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Cai in the 95th minute of play. Patricio Araoz in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leo Librado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match was over Saavedra could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tacaaglé AFC throughout the match.
