Isaias Sagrario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Ovando in the 3rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Tapalquén AFC defense, Santo Cucao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Sagrario. The Tapalquén AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Sagrario should have stopped the shot. When Günther AFC's Santo Cucao in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tapalquén AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 14 played minutes Günther AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Rafel. When Aquiles Guillem came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Tapalquén AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Guillem couldn't finish the play. Tapalquén AFC's Isaias Sagrario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Cucao in the 18th minute of play. Gregorio Ovando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Cucao in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaias Sagrario saved Tapalquén AFC from getting behind. After 36 played minutes Tapalquén AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Cordera. 38 minutes into the match, Tapalquén AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Cucao came free, but Isaias Sagrario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Rolando Maura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapalquén AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Maura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Firmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th match minute, Tapalquén AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Fidencio to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th match minute, Günther AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Ovando to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rolando Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Guillem in the 59th minute of play forced Günther AFC's goalkeeper Fabian Firmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Aquiles Guillem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Firmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Firmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Maura in the 62nd minute of play. Santo Cucao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Isaias Sagrario made a huge save. Santo Cucao who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Isaias Sagrario when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aquiles Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Firmin having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Eustaquio Naelio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaias Sagrario. That made the score 0-2 in the 93 minute of play. When the match was over Günther AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tapalquén AFC throughout the match.
