Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Cebo in the 3rd minute of play forced Cuipán AFC's goalkeeper Honorio Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Etxatxu charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Etxatxu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sorento FC's Amado Etxatxu got a free kick in the 5th minute. Siro Atarrabi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benigno Theodore in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Benigno Theodore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Atarrabi. Sorento FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benigno Theodore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 14 minutes into the game, Sorento FC's Reynaldo Cebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Honorio Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Honorio Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Argina in the 17th minute of the match. Honorio Velasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Cebo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Argina in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnulfo Bastia kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Celso Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorento FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Argina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Celso Argina, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 34 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Honorio Velasco was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Siro Atarrabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Maxin in the 37th minute of the match. Benigno Theodore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Atarrabi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Saturnino Maxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sorento FC getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Amado Etxatxu hit a great ball. 50 minutes into the match, Cuipán AFC's Apolo Lapurdi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saturnino Maxin to make the kick off. Sorento FC's Siro Atarrabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Theodore in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, Cuipán AFC's Honorio Velasco got control of the ball when Reynaldo Cebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Siro Atarrabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Theodore, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 71st minute Saturnino Maxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Atarrabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo Lapurdi charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolo Lapurdi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Cuipán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Lapurdi. Sorento FC's Reynaldo Cebo managed to work through Cuipán AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Reynaldo Cebo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Reynaldo Cebo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 91st playminute. Siro Atarrabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Maxin in the 96th minute of play. Sorento FC's Siro Atarrabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Theodore in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sorento FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
