Leonardo Frasquito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcos Steven came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Médanos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Steven couldn't finish the play. If Marcos Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Gutierrez hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Ambrosio Dantel came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Medina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Dantel couldn't finish the play. Cristobal Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Barea in the 20th minute of play. Raul Barea took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristobal Iraitz. Cristobal Iraitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 24th match minute, Medina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Castulo to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Medina FC's Ambrosio Dantel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Leonardo Frasquito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrosio Dantel in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Médanos FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Frasquito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Steven to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristobal Iraitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Steven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Vachon during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valentin Vachon kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Ambrosio Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Cristobal Iraitz made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Raul Barea sent off a good shot on target. Desiderio Bernaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Frasquito having to interfere. If Ambrosio Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Dantel scored 2-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Frasquito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96thth minute of the game Desiderio Bernaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Médanos FC's Leonardo Frasquito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Medina FC had won after a very even match.
