Patricio Rioja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Etxahun having to interfere. Fabian Soter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Venceslas having to interfere. Fabian Soter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Pascual Venceslas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Etxahun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Rioja in the 17th minute of play. Fidel Jerrold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Santo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Venceslas saved Ambrosetti from getting behind. Isidoro Etxahun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Rioja's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Pascual Venceslas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Patricio Rioja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ambrosetti's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Rioja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Etxahun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fidel Jerrold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Severino Javiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Patricio Rioja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Etxahun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patricio Rioja to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Hipatía AFC's goalkeeper Isidoro Etxahun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fidel Jerrold. With his leg Isidoro Etxahun managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Ambrosetti's Fidel Jerrold fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 56 minutes, Fidel Jerrold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ambrosetti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Jerrold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascual Venceslas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Santo in the 58th minute of play. Fabian Soter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Pascual Venceslas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herminio Santo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascual Venceslas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute, Placido Ferrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute of the match Eugenio Cedro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascual Venceslas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teofilo Quinton's late challenge caught a Hipatía AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofilo Quinton helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ambrosetti's Teofilo Quinton got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Fabian Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Rioja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidoro Etxahun having to make a save. Fidel Jerrold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Etxahun having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hipatía AFC's Eduardo Luix got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Ambrosetti players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Hipatía AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
