Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nestor Tomi started the match with the kick off. Nestor Tomi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jeremias Txatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Txatxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Tomi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Jaqüé's goalkeeper Jeremias Txatxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervasio Frans. After some careless play in the Ovejería defense, Baldomero Frederico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Izel. The Ovejería fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Izel should have stopped the shot. Pablo Meendez hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervasio Frans got free with Jeremias Txatxu in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Jaqüé's Erasmo Fagondo got a free kick in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Ovejería's Nestor Tomi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Txatxu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gervasio Frans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Jeremias Txatxu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
If Gervasio Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Tomi in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes, Jose Cordairo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ovejería and the Jaqüé players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 minutes of play, Jaqüé's Igor Aurken made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Izel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Ovejería's zone, Igor Aurken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Izel came out of the goal and Igor Aurken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th match minute, Jaqüé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Polentzi to maneuver through the defense. Matias Izel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Frederico in the 69th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Matias Izel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gervasio Frans took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremias Txatxu. Jeremias Txatxu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Igor Aurken's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matias Izel firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 80 minutes, Anacleto Taurino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ovejería and the Jaqüé players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anacleto Taurino kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaqüé's Baldomero Frederico slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matias Izel. That made the score 1-4 after 83 minutes of play. If Gervasio Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Baldomero Frederico came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Jaqüé fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Frederico couldn't finish the play. The Jaqüé supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jaqüé would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
