Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cesar Raymon started the match with the kick off. Ivan Llorienzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Corderro's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Pomona FC's Pascual Ofelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Raymon in the 6th minute of play. Cesar Raymon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Pascual Ofelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Pomona FC's Arnoldo Neron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Llorienzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abel Haritzeder's late challenge caught a Pomona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Haritzeder helped the player get up and apologised. Abel Haritzeder hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Pomona FC's Nemesio Bonifaco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jeremias Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arnoldo Neron came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Pomona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Neron couldn't finish the play. Pomona FC's Jeremias Corderro got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benicio Dominix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Ofelio having to interfere. Pomona FC's Pascual Ofelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Dominix in the 27th minute of play. Ivan Llorienzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Corderro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Jeremias Corderro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Llorienzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arnoldo Neron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Jeremias Corderro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Raymon in the 39th minute of play forced Pomona FC's goalkeeper Pascual Ofelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Arnoldo Neron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pomona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Neron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Llorienzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustaquio Itzaina hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremias Corderro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnoldo Neron hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. A collision led to Pomona FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Celedonio Urritz hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Benicio Dominix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascual Ofelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pascual Ofelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Raymon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Maxin hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When Pomona FC's Jeremias Corderro in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gualeguaychú AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Benicio Dominix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Pascual Ofelio made a huge save. 71 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Itzaina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gualeguaychú AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pomona FC the free kick. Eustaquio Itzaina kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Gualeguaychú AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Corderro came free, but Ivan Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Neron in the 78th minute of play. The Pomona FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gualeguaychú AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gualeguaychú AFC.
