When Gaspar Ekhi came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Traill AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Ekhi couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Chischaquita FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Carmelo Lauro hit a great ball. Gaspar Ekhi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25thth minute of the game Ezequiel Uzuri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chischaquita FC's Pascual Licerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gaspar Ekhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascual Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Ekhi in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Traill AFC's Gaspar Ekhi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pascual Licerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paolo Frances charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paolo Frances the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chischaquita FC's Paolo Frances got a free kick in the 47th minute. Pascual Licerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Uzuri in the 48th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laureano Barea to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Ekhi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Pascual Licerio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 55 minutes into the game, Chischaquita FC's Laureano Barea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Urko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Edelmiro Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. Chischaquita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Barea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Urko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ezequiel Uzuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute.
