Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elvio Rodas started the match with the kick off. Lucio Dominguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Urritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Bittor's late challenge caught a Maguire FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Bittor helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Despeñaderos! 11 minutes into the game, Despeñaderos's Oscar Ur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roque Telo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Roque Telo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Ur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Tabb in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Despeñaderos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Truylos to maneuver through the defense. Elvio Rodas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roque Telo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Ernesto Tabb received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucio Dominguez came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernesto Tabb slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 27th minute. Ernesto Tabb struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Lucio Dominguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maguire FC. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maguire FC's goalkeeper Roque Telo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucio Dominguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Tabb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Maguire FC's Ernesto Tabb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucio Dominguez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Tabb to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Rodolfo Urritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Dominguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Emiliano Txeru fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maguire FC's protests and gave Emiliano Txeru a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Despeñaderos booed when Maguire FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Txeru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Rodas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Telo having to interfere. When Elvio Rodas in the 70th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Roque Telo kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 76th match minute, Maguire FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Calvet to maneuver through the defense. Elvio Rodas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romulo Gudesteo during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silvio Atauri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roque Telo. Maguire FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Elvio Rodas took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Roque Telo to make any attempt to save it. Lucio Dominguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Urritz in the 87th minute of the match. If Oscar Ur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 94th minute of the match Romulo Gudesteo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Romulo Gudesteo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Roque Telo made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Oscar Ur sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Despeñaderos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
