Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Coloma FC's Geronimo Fraco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Despeñaderos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Truylos to maneuver through the defense. When Apolo Gartxot came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Coloma FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Gartxot couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Coloma FC's goalkeeper Israel Gabon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Rodas. Elvio Rodas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Gabon having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Despeñaderos's zone, Geronimo Fraco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Dominguez came out of the goal and Geronimo Fraco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Coloma FC booed when Despeñaderos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Bonadona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Rodas might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Israel Gabon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elvio Rodas ran back to his position shaking his head. Severino Silbestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elvio Rodas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Israel Gabon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Silbestre struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Israel Gabon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despeñaderos.
After having played for 55 minutes, Geronimo Fraco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coloma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Fraco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Despeñaderos's Lucio Dominguez got control of the ball when Arnulfo Hondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Israel Gabon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elvio Rodas went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Arnulfo Hondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Dominguez having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Severino Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despeñaderos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Silbestre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coloma FC's goalkeeper Israel Gabon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Despeñaderos's corner Silvio Atauri fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Israel Gabon quite easily take care of the ball. Elvio Rodas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Gabon having to interfere. Apolo Felipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Israel Gabon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Emanuel Jerrold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coloma FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Despeñaderos the free kick. After 85 played minutes Coloma FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Jerrold. After recieving a nice pass, Despeñaderos's Silvio Atauri tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Natalio Pello fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coloma FC's protests and gave Natalio Pello a yellow card for diving instead. Natalio Pello kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Arnulfo Hondo struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Lucio Dominguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coloma FC. There was no doubt that Despeñaderos were the better team. Despeñaderos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
