Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aaron Cordero got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Travesía FC's zone, Augusto Firme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Thomas came out of the goal and Augusto Firme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Matias Gitano fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Travesía FC's protests and gave Matias Gitano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Piñeyro booed when Travesía FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Gitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Aaron Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piñeyro's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Cordero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Thomas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Beat in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Luke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aldo Fernanco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Paolo Luke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teobaldo Beat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Piñeyro's Aaron Cordero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Thomas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 33 minutes, Augusto Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piñeyro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Firme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Cordero succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Travesía FC's Faustino Cidro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paolo Luke but with some difficulty. Piñeyro's Augusto Firme got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santos Vincente hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Aaron Cordero came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Piñeyro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Cordero couldn't finish the play. If Aldo Fernanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Teobaldo Beat made the kick off in the second half. If Aaron Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Augusto Firme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Travesía FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Paolo Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Beat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aaron Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Fernanco in the 69th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Piñeyro got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Nisio. Aldo Fernanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Paolo Luke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, one of Piñeyro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Piñeyro. Paolo Luke went to the wrong direction when Alvaro Cidro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The Travesía FC fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Travesía FC's Alvaro Cidro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Matias Gitano hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Augusto Firme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Piñeyro got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Firme.
