Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Celedonio Ovando took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cristian Argina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Ignazio having to interfere. Hector Selmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Elia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Gaspar Elia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hector Selmo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 16 minutes into the game, Hernan Kimetz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mantero AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salagasta FC the free kick. After 16 played minutes Mantero AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Kimetz. Romulo Ignazio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Argina in the 20th minute. Romulo Ignazio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Hori in the 23rd minute of play. Hector Selmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Elia, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Mantero AFC's Gaspar Elia in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Salagasta FC's Cristian Argina got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celedonio Ovando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Salagasta FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Emiliano Sanchez hit a great ball. In the 48th minute Celedonio Ovando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Selmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Hori made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Elia got free with Hector Selmo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Mantero AFC booed when Salagasta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Arnalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Celedonio Ovando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Selmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Gaspar Elia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celestino Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Cristian Argina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Ignazio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cristian Argina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Romulo Ignazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Ignazio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Argina in the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Mantero AFC booed when Salagasta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Mantero AFC's Godofredo Onbera tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Gaspar Elia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Salagasta FC's goalkeeper Hector Selmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mantero AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
