Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Faustino Lamberto started the match with the kick off. In the 6thth minute of the game Faustino Lamberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Recreo AFC's Filomeno Xabel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Filiberto Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Xabel having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Recreo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Lamberto came free, but Filomeno Xabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Filomeno Xabel managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Obligado's Filiberto Gorri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Clemente Felo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Recreo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Felo couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Tomás Dantae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Clemente Felo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Obligado's Joaquin Uhin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Bartolome in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Lamberto in the 45th minute of play forced Recreo AFC's goalkeeper Filomeno Xabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Xabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Lamberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. 51 minutes had been played when some careless play by Recreo AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastian Ladio was slow to take the kick. During this time Obligado's players had a chance to rest.
Joaquin Uhin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Felo in the 57th minute of the match. Faustino Lamberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd match minute, Obligado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Dantae to maneuver through the defense. Filiberto Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Xabel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Recreo AFC's zone, Faustino Lamberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Xabel came out of the goal and Faustino Lamberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Jesus Muno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Obligado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Recreo AFC the free kick. Jesus Muno kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 1-1 became the score in the 76th minute when Jorge Bartolome elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Felo in the 82nd minute of play forced Obligado's goalkeeper Joaquin Uhin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Recreo AFC's Clemente Felo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lucas Boniel fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Obligado's protests and gave Lucas Boniel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Lucas Boniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Obligado's zone, Clemente Felo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Uhin came out of the goal and Clemente Felo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Gorri in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filomeno Xabel saved Recreo AFC from getting behind. 101 minutes into the match, Obligado's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Felo came free, but Joaquin Uhin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
