Hernan Gaizko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Pacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Eduino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Berdaitz in the 16th minute. When Agustin Berdaitz came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Carrizalillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Berdaitz couldn't finish the play. Agustin Berdaitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Eduino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustin Berdaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Pacho in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Gaizko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Carrizalillo FC's Victorino Abaurre ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisco Eduino. Francisco Eduino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Rangel booed when Carrizalillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Gipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Agustin Berdaitz came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Carrizalillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Berdaitz couldn't finish the play. Adrian Pacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Adrian Pacho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rangel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Pacho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rangel's Francisco Eduino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Abaurre in the 46th minute of play. Moises Inocente struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Hernan Gaizko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rangel. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Pacho to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmelo Ugutz during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th minute, Carmelo Ugutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Eduino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Berdaitz in the 56th minute of the match. Victorino Abaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Francisco Eduino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Abaurre in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Eduino saved Rangel from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Agustin Berdaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victorino Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Eduino having to interfere. If Agustin Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Agustin Berdaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carrizalillo FC's Victorino Abaurre got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Agustin Berdaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
