Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wilfredo Beti made the kick off which started today's match. David Ruisko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Hodei in the 3rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Wilfredo Beti sped through Guaviraví FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gerardo Jorrin. Jorge Etor struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gerardo Jorrin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Euscadi. Jorge Etor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Gerardo Jorrin made a huge save. Guaviraví FC's Desiderio Peruanton got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilfredo Beti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gerardo Jorrin came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilfredo Beti slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Gabriel Suero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Jorrin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonides Inguma went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Guaviraví FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Angelo Joseph hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Euscadi's Santos Aresti broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. David Ruisko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Constancio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Euscadi's David Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Peruanton in the 45th minute of play. Jorge Etor might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerardo Jorrin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Etor ran back to his position shaking his head.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Constancio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Wilfredo Beti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Jorrin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Euscadi's Leonides Inguma got a free kick in the 55th minute. David Ruisko had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Teodosio Tabb's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Teodosio Tabb succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 57th playminute. 63 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Beti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Gerardo Jorrin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 68 minutes into the game, Angelo Joseph was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaviraví FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Euscadi the free kick. Desiderio Peruanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Ruisko having to interfere. If Desiderio Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Wilfredo Beti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Jorrin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Guaviraví FC's Desiderio Peruanton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Ruisko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guaviraví FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Euscadi.
