After 3 played minutes Monteagudo got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Mirande. 6 minutes into the match, Monteagudo's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Valerio came free, but Roman Irrintzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Israel Asier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeronimo Sagrario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Asier's late challenge caught a Madryn AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Israel Asier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute Jeronimo Sagrario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Felix Valerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madryn AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Valerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Irrintzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Madryn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Llope came free, but Horacio Admon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Leonel Gonsalve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Prudencio Llope, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 28 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Horacio Admon was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tobias Bertran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Admon having to interfere. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jeronimo Sagrario sped through Monteagudo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roman Irrintzi. If Tobias Bertran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorio Eusko during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Madryn AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Eusko. With a little luck, Monteagudo's Roman Irrintzi got control of the ball when Jeronimo Sagrario tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Madryn AFC booed when Monteagudo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Hechter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Irrintzi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Valerio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 66 minute of play. Jeronimo Sagrario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Valerio struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Roman Irrintzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madryn AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Llope in the 80th minute of play forced Madryn AFC's goalkeeper Horacio Admon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Bertran might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horacio Admon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobias Bertran ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the match, Madryn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Llope came free, but Horacio Admon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Bertran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Admon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Bertran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
