Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Monteagudo's Prudencio Llope started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the match, Balderrama's Javier Locaio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Irrintzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cornelio Nuxila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. When Astor Rafel fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monteagudo's protests and gave Astor Rafel a yellow card for diving instead. Astor Rafel hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Balderrama's Cornelio Nuxila got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornelio Nuxila in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Irrintzi saved Monteagudo from getting behind. If Prudencio Llope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Locaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Irrintzi having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Locaio got free with Roman Irrintzi in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Balderrama:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Monteagudo:s goal. If Cornelio Nuxila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Monteagudo's zone, Cornelio Nuxila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Irrintzi came out of the goal and Cornelio Nuxila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 74 minutes on the clock, Carlos Enaut commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 74 minutes into the game, one of Balderrama:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Monteagudo a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Mirande, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Balderrama's Angelino Elija. 2-0. After 80 played minutes Balderrama got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Ubelteso. When Monteagudo's Prudencio Llope, in the 81st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Monteagudo. Angelino Elija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Llope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Luzea hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match.
