If Cristian Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manantiales's goalkeeper Vinicio Incendio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Manantiales's Teodosio Gamus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Sazon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manantiales's Vinicio Incendio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Paul in the 13th minute of play. Norberto Federigo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Julio Sazon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manantiales. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norberto Federigo was the one to do the kick off. Norberto Federigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Sazon having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodosio Gamus in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Sazon saved Larroque from getting behind. Norberto Federigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Sazon having to interfere. Teodosio Gamus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Sazon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Federigo in the 63rd minute of play forced Larroque's goalkeeper Julio Sazon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Manantiales's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Santiago fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Teodosio Gamus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Norberto Federigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Gamus in the 95th minute of play forced Larroque's goalkeeper Julio Sazon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
