The audience was convinced that Amado Jorrin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Guillelmo was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Severiano Kepa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hilario Gotzon. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Filomeno Aznaro hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Angelo Feliu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Hilario Gotzon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 42nd minute, Ariel Castulo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cienaguita AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Clemente Guillelmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Ricardo Harriet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severiano Kepa to strike the kick off in the second half. Severiano Kepa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Hilario Gotzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Ariel Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cienaguita AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Castulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ariel Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alsina's Amado Jorrin in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cienaguita AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Amado Jorrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. After 74 played minutes, Cienaguita AFC's Gervasio Cloyo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hilario Gotzon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cienaguita AFC reached it. Hilario Gotzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Castulo in the 76th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Gar during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, Dario Gar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Guillelmo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Harriet in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Cienaguita AFC's Leon Chale got a free kick in the 84th minute. Cienaguita AFC's Ariel Castulo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Fausto Pio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 minutes of play, Cienaguita AFC's Ariel Castulo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilario Gotzon was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cienaguita AFC had won after a very even match.
