A collision led to Todd getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Delmar Mosen hit a great ball. Isaias Mede was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Guaberto Rocio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Roman James was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miranda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Todd the free kick. Guaberto Rocio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Poz having to interfere. If Guaberto Rocio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Miranda's goalkeeper David Poz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Oihenarte. Matias Pes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Goi in the 25th minute of play. Delmar Mosen kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 28 minutes of play Miranda's Roman James was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Roman James kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Celso Oihenarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Miranda booed when Todd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Mosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guaberto Rocio to make the kick off. David Poz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Oihenarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Guaberto Rocio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Poz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Oihenarte in the 56th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Teofilo Chucho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Celso Oihenarte in the 58th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 64 minutes, Orlando Bartoleme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miranda and the Todd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Miranda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Bartoleme to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Teofilo Chucho suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 71st match minute, Todd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Mosen to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th match minute, Miranda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Lluis to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Todd were awarded a corner. Jonathan Dominguez went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jonathan Dominguez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Miranda's David Poz did a great save. When Amador Abaurre came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Miranda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Abaurre couldn't finish the play. Guaberto Rocio scored 1-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Poz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Todd's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
