Matias Pes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Cordario in the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Elias Cai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falckner AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Cai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Pes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Oihenarte in the 32nd minute of play forced Falckner AFC's goalkeeper Horacio Sergi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Celso Oihenarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horacio Sergi was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Celso Oihenarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horacio Sergi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 49th minute of the match Jonathan Dominguez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horacio Sergi skillfully saved the ball.

Matias Pes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Mateo in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Aaron Cordario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falckner AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 65 played minutes Guaberto Rocio rounded Falckner AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. With an all-out effort, Todd's Horacio Sergi threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guaberto Rocio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 72 minutes into the match, Falckner AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Rocio came free, but Horacio Sergi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Horacio Sergi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Falckner AFC's goalkeeper Horacio Sergi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Guaberto Rocio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Todd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Rocio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Oihenarte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horacio Sergi having to make a save. Falckner AFC's Horacio Sergi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Rocio in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Guaberto Rocio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Todd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Rocio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 98th minute, Guaberto Rocio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Todd eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
