Jeronimo Dimas charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeronimo Dimas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Mauricio got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Dimas. When Joel Clementi came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Mauricio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Clementi couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute Jeremias Bernaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Eufrasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joel Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Bernaldo got free with Filomeno Eufrasio in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Candido Beremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Gamus having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Lagunilla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Santio.
