Alonzo Leoiar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Silvio Vincente made a huge save. Lino Niguel charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Niguel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Montoya AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lino Niguel hit a great ball. If Alonzo Leoiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Arnalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montoya AFC's Silvio Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Senon in the 36th minute of play. After 42 minutes, Arnulfo Fanuco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montoya AFC and the Animaná FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arnulfo Fanuco hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Filiberto Feliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montoya AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Feliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Palban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 47 minutes, Filiberto Feliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montoya AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Feliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiberto Feliz made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Animaná FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Filiberto Feliz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 60 minutes into the match, Montoya AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Leoiar came free, but Silvio Vincente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Senon in the 62nd minute of play forced Montoya AFC's goalkeeper Silvio Vincente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Animaná FC's Alonzo Leoiar got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65thth minute of the game Eustaquio Senon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montoya AFC's Silvio Vincente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eustaquio Senon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Flavio Quentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeo Palban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Feliz in the 93rd minute of play. Arnulfo Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Palban having to interfere. The Montoya AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Animaná FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
