The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Aimar got free with Edelmiro Lastur in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andres Musko kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Joaquin Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Victorio Socorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Enol in the 64th minute of play forced Belgrano AFC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Incahuasi's Cesar Urbasa got control of the ball when Victorio Socorro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Incahuasi booed when Belgrano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Paio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Mikolas hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Victorio Socorro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesar Urbasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dalmacio Aimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Lastur having to interfere. Victorio Socorro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Cesar Urbasa made a huge save. Edelmiro Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Enol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Urbasa made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Victorio Socorro sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Belgrano AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
