Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Paio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Palban having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonzo Leoiar in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edelmiro Lastur saved Belgrano AFC from getting behind. Eustaquio Senon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edelmiro Lastur having to make a save. Edelmiro Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Senon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Animaná FC booed when Belgrano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Roldan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Paulo Chap shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edelmiro Lastur showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Belgrano AFC's Joaquin Paio got a free kick in the 27th minute. Edelmiro Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Leoiar in the 29th minute of play. If Victorio Socorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Quentin hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th match minute, Belgrano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Musko to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Animaná FC's goalkeeper Romeo Palban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorio Socorro. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Senon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Lastur was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Animaná FC's Romeo Palban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Paio in the 55th minute of play. Edelmiro Lastur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alonzo Leoiar in the 58th minute. When Serafin Roldan fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgrano AFC's protests and gave Serafin Roldan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Animaná FC booed when Belgrano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Roldan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Eustaquio Senon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Animaná FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Senon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Lastur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Leoiar got free with Edelmiro Lastur in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermengildo Urre kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Victorio Socorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Palban having to interfere. Animaná FC's Alonzo Leoiar got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Quentin during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Animaná FC booed when Belgrano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Paio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Animaná FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
