Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Melchor Salvidor started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Adan Asier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Montxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Adan Asier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canals AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Asier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorio Cesaro's late challenge caught a Canals AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Cesaro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Canals AFC booed when Bermejo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Cesaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benigno Montxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Asier, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Victorio Cesaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Maximino Asier made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Asier in the 14th minute of play forced Bermejo's goalkeeper Benigno Montxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benigno Montxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Salvidor in the 17th minute of play. Jonatan Guillem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Victorio Cesaro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maximino Asier. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Salvidor in the 45th minute of play forced Bermejo's goalkeeper Benigno Montxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Canals AFC's zone, Jonatan Guillem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Asier came out of the goal and Jonatan Guillem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Jonatan Guillem made the kick off in the second half. Maximino Asier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Guillem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jonatan Guillem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bermejo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Guillem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Asier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Bermejo's zone, Adan Asier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Montxo came out of the goal and Adan Asier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquiles Berbiz hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canals AFC's goalkeeper Maximino Asier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Melchor Salvidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Benigno Montxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Bermejo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Cesaro to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melchor Salvidor in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Montxo saved Bermejo from getting behind. Adan Asier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
