The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alpatacal's Domingos Deunoro got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingos Deunoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Sandaili having to interfere. Ambrosio Sandaili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Deunoro in the 16th minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Elvio Domeka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrera and the Alpatacal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Elvio Domeka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th match minute, Alpatacal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Micael to maneuver through the defense. If Elvio Domeka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Lino Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Inocente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Domeka struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Alejo Inocente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrera. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Deunoro during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Alpatacal's Domingos Deunoro got a free kick in the 38th minute. Justino Clodio hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Jesus Umea came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Alpatacal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Umea couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Domingos Deunoro made the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Sandaili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Deunoro in the 53rd minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Alpatacal's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Dabi came free, but Alejo Inocente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Domingos Deunoro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ambrosio Sandaili, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Alpatacal's zone, Elvio Domeka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Inocente came out of the goal and Elvio Domeka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
