Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomás Veto started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute, Joel Tulio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ánimas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arnulfo Diagur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Ugutz in the 15th minute of the match. When Ciro Haimar fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivas FC's protests and gave Ciro Haimar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Rivas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Haimar to maneuver through the defense. Joel Tulio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Ánimas's Joel Tulio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnulfo Diagur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Tulio in the 25th minute of play forced Rivas FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Diagur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnulfo Diagur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Arnulfo Diagur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Ugutz in the 29th minute of play. Pascual Argider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Veto in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rivas FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Diagur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Tulio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Diagur having to interfere. Arnulfo Diagur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Ugutz in the 37th minute of the match. Ruben Peru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Joel Tulio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Faustino Ugutz made the kick off in the second half. If Faustino Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Peru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeo Llorenc during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ánimas getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Amadeo Llorenc hit a great ball. During the 65th minute of the match Ciro Haimar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ciro Haimar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 66 played minutes Rivas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Haimar. In the 69thth minute of the game Faustino Ugutz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rivas FC's Arnulfo Diagur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ruben Peru came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Rivas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Peru couldn't finish the play. With his leg Arnulfo Diagur managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Ánimas's Joel Tulio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Inocencio Oriche charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inocencio Oriche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rivas FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Inocencio Oriche hit a great ball. Ruben Peru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Pascual Argider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Peru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ánimas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
