After a defensive mix-up in Palomitas FC's zone, Marco Eztebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Venceslao came out of the goal and Marco Eztebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Culampajao's Severo Dominic fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Severo Dominic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Elias Venceslao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Rolado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Sal in the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Nereo Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Culampajao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Izel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Eztebe got free with Elias Venceslao in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severo Dominic to strike the kick off in the second half. Elias Venceslao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Eztebe in the 51st minute of play. After some careless play in the Palomitas FC defense, Severo Dominic kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Venceslao. The Palomitas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Venceslao should have stopped the shot. Eduardo Berto charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Berto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eduardo Berto hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, Palomitas FC's Santos Maties nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santos Maties could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Norberto Rolado made a huge save. Marco Eztebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Elias Venceslao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palomitas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Culampajao.
