Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ismael Sauveur started the match with the kick off. After 10 played minutes, Congreso FC's Geronimo Urtungo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gregorio Rencio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Congreso FC reached it. Gregorio Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Roano in the 13th minute of play. Honorato Mantzio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ismael Sauveur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Sauveur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Congreso FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Honorato Mantzio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 1-0 became the score in the 32nd minute when Uriel Naike elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gregorio Rencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Roano went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Congreso FC's Esteban Chaime got a free kick in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Congreso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Naike came free, but Efrain Gabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Gabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Naike, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Honorato Mantzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Congreso FC's Ismael Sauveur in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paranay's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Paranay's Gregorio Rencio got control of the ball when Luciano Roano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luciano Roano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Paranay's Moises Lander got a free kick in the 77th minute. Ismael Sauveur was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Congreso FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ismael Sauveur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Roano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Rencio having to interfere. Ismael Sauveur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Gombal's late challenge caught a Congreso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmiro Gombal helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Paranay got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Gombal. Ismael Sauveur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
