After some careless play in the Charqui defense, Maximino Etxeberri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Abel. The Charqui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Abel should have stopped the shot. Marciano Erramun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximino Etxeberri to make the kick off. If Octavio Chuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Charqui booed when Sapitos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Lartaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Feliciano Izotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Chuse in the 58th minute of play forced Sapitos AFC's goalkeeper Aquiles Paio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Sapitos AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Charqui:s goal. Aquiles Paio came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Charqui's Feliciano Izotz. But to his dismay, Feliciano Izotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Sapitos AFC's Aquiles Paio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Izotz in the 86th minute of play. Feliciano Izotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Paio having to interfere. Aquiles Paio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Chuse in the 95th minute of play. Charqui's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
