Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Freddy Tristan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nereo Mendebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Cesar Chepe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. David Moise was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cesar Chepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. David Moise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Palmita's Jacinto Innocenzio got a free kick in the 26th minute. David Moise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Chepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Heriberto kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Nereo Mendebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Moise having to interfere. If Lázaro Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Moise stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Mendebal's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Diego Heriberto charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Heriberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Diego Heriberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute of the match Crucesita got a corner. Palmita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carmelo Baldovino ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Crucesita's corner Carmelo Baldovino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and David Moise quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Chepe to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Cesar Chepe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Crucesita's Cesar Chepe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Moise. That made the score 0-2 after 59 minutes of play. In the 63rd minute of the match Leopoldo Otsando sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Siro Roldanillo skillfully saved the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Lázaro Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Roldanillo. Crucesita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 74 minutes into the game, Lázaro Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Siro Roldanillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Palmita booed when Crucesita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Bizen didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Palmita's David Moise got control of the ball when Nereo Mendebal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Palmita's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Chepe came free, but David Moise reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Chepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Moise having to interfere. David Moise stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Chepe's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
